Being new to the photography world, especially the wedding industry I quickly realized I wanted to start attending styled shoots. They’re the perfect way to practice without feeling the pressure of a real wedding day while getting to build a beautiful portfolio. I attended my first styled editorial this past December and learned a lot! It was my first glimpse of what a wedding would be like and I loved every minute of it! I couldn’t wait to attend another but waited until I saw a venue I really wanted to work with and a vision that really spoke to me. As soon as I saw that Styled Shoots of Houston was having an Italian Styled Editorial at Olde Dobbin Station I was sold. And let me tell y’all it was MAGICAL!

This styled shoot brought a whole new level of inspiration and creativity out of me! The details were completely out of this world! You could immediately tell that every single vendor poured their heart and soul into this shoot and for them it really was a “roll with the punches” wedding day. The original plan was to have everything set up outside to showcase a real Italian wedding; unfortunately, mother nature had other plans and decided to rain. Mother nature must have known what she was doing because in the midst of chaos, real magic happened. It was an incredible styled editorial and so special to capture!
